So what is the hoodia plant anyway? Simply put, the hoodia gordonii plant looks like a cactus but it technically classified as a succulent. It is found primarily in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa but it is also found in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and in parts of the United States (California and Arizona).

In this podcast, I not only discuss what is the hoodia plant, but I also discuss the 5 myths surrounding the difficulty of growing the hoodia gordonii plant in the U.S. Up until recently, it was believed that the plant was nearly impossible to grow in the U.S. – certainly for the average Joe anyway.
