Hoodia for Free – Does Free Hoodia Really Exist?

Ialways get emails from visitors asking about all those free hoodia offers they find online. Everyone wants to know if they are real and if it’s possible to find hoodia for free. The first thing I tell them is that there is not one legitimate free hoodia sample out there. I usually direct them to the article I wrote that outlines the thirteen things to look for when you buy hoodia.

After reading the article, they quickly realize that those free hoodia trial offers are a joke. The next thing I tell them to do, if they’re serious about trying hoodia to help them with their weight loss efforts, is to look at high quality brands such as Desert Burn or Hoodoba. They aren’t free, but as the old saying goes, nothing in life is free!

Since I get so many questions about free hoodia offers, I thought I would write a detailed article about them to explain why they should be avoided. For starters, these free hoodia trials are actually very expensive in more ways than one.

What most people don’t realize is that when you accept these
free hoodia offers, you are automatically enrolled in an auto ship program!

What that means is you are shipped a month’s supply of hoodia product and your credit card is charged each and every month – typically around $50-$80!

Here’s how it works: when you accept these free hoodia offers you are always charged a nominal fee of some kind. It’s usually a shipping and handling fee. To pay for the fee, you are required to hand over your credit card information. You are then shipped the bottle of hoodia or a small supply of hoodia patches. If you read the fine print to these free hoodia offers, they usually give you around 15 days to sample the product. If you don’t cancel within 15 days, then you are automatically enrolled in the auto ship program.

Now here’s where it gets even better, canceling these auto ship programs isn’t always as easy as you would think.

These free hoodia offers state in the fine print that you can cancel the auto ship program at anytime. It usually requires a telephone call as most don’t accept cancellations by email. In many cases it is very difficult to reach a live person. If you do a search for hoodia scams on the Internet, you’ll read all kinds of horror stories about consumers who couldn’t cancel so their credit cards kept getting charged every month.

I read one story where a woman’s credit was ruined
because she couldn’t cancel!

As if all this isn’t bad enough, most (if not all) of these free hoodia samples don’t contain authentic hoodia gordonii. If you use the criteria I’ve outlined in the article I wrote about what to look for when you buy hoodia, you’ll quickly realize most of these free hoodia offers don’t pass the test.

CITES certificates and independent lab test results are the two main things to look for if you want authentic hoodia gordonii diet pills. I haven’t been able to find either one on the websites of any of these companies that offer free hoodia samples. If you find one, let me know! If you can’t find a CITES certificate or independent lab test results clearly displayed on a website, then what they are offering most likely isn’t real hoodia gordonii!

The next time you run across a free hoodia sample offer, do yourself a favor and keep on shopping because there is no such thing as hoodia for free.
