Is Slim Cream With Hoodia A Genuine Hoodia Product?
I am looking at a product called Slim Cream with Hoodia which is from a company called C.R.A International. I am looking to import this product into Australia to sell. I have asked lots of questions and thanks to your site have sent another email asking questions appropriate to sell the product. I have no doubt that overweight people would buy this product but I have to know that I am selling a genuine product. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. -Donna
Donna:
Thanks for contacting me and I’m glad you find my website helpful! There is no doubt people struggling with their weight would buy such a product, but the problem is no such “magic” weight loss cream exists. If selling a genuine hoodia product is important to you, then definitely stay away from Slim Cream with Hoodia. There are many reasons why I say that and I’ll try to touch on them here.
There are several things to look for when buying (or selling) hoodia to ensure that what you are getting is real. The two most important things are CITES certificates and independent lab test results. You can learn more about these two documents as well as the other things to look for by reading the article I wrote that highlights the 13 things to look for when you buy hoodia.
If I can’t find these two documents on the websites of companies selling hoodia products, I avoid them like the plague. If you go to the Slim Cream website, they make no mention of these documents nor do they display them. Companies that sell real hoodia gordonii products, like those shown on my best rated hoodia page, will have these documents prominently displayed on their websites as proof that what they are selling is real.
Another reason I would avoid Slim Cream with Hoodia is that they don’t list how much hoodia gordonii is in the product. It can take as much as 3,000mg of hoodia gordonii per day for it to be effective - and that’s when it’s taken orally. How much hoodia is in Slim Cream? You don’t know and that’s the problem. If it contained a significant amount of hoodia gorodnii, they would state that. The fact that they don’t, leads me to believe it has very little hoodia in it (if any at all).
The final and most important reason I would avoid Slim Cream with hoodia is that in my opinion it’s a total scam. The company behind this product is trying to make the argument that a cream works the same way as hoodia patches (hoodia being absorbed through the skin). The problem is, hoodia patches have been proven to be total scams because there isn’t any evidence that hoodia can be transmitted through the skin. And even if it can, there is no scientific evidence to show how hoodia works when transmitted through the skin. We have no way of knowing if it’s more effective or not. This is beside the point, however. The main point is that there is no proof at all that hoodia can be transmitted through the skin to begin with.
In addition, there is very little scientific evidence that traditional hoodia capsules are effective - let alone hoodia products that supposedly transmit hoodia through the skin! However, we still have far more anecdotal and clinical evidence regarding the effectiveness of traditional hoodia capsules than we do any other type of hoodia product. If you are looking to sell hoodia products, I recommend you stick with traditional hoodia capsules as they have the best track record to date.
Hope this helps.
