If You Still Have To Diet For Hoodia To Work, What’s The Point Of Taking It?

After browsing through your website it’s very apparent that hoodia requires diet and exercise to work effectively. If that’s the case, why would I even need to take hoodia diet pills in the first place? After all, wouldn’t diet and exercise alone help me lose weight?-Liz

Liz:

Great question! I have to admit I wondered the same thing when I first started reading information on hoodia. It wasn’t until I started reading comments from dieters that I started to understand why people would still take hoodia even while dieting. One particular comment from a dieter really drove the point home. I’ll call this dieter, “Mary.”

Mary had cravings and overeating that were “out of control.” She knew all about eating right and exercising but she just couldn’t say no to some of her cravings. She also couldn’t control her overeating. As an example, Mary liked to eat turkey meat and she knew it was good for her but not in the amounts she would eat it!

She knew a normal serving size of meat was about the size of a deck of cards, but there was no way that little amount of meat would ever satisfy her or “fill her up.” Consequently, when she’d eat (even healthy foods) she’d over do it. All that changed after she started taking hoodia supplements.

By taking hoodia, a normal serving size of meat actually filled her up and satisfied her. She was finally able to eat regular serving-size portions of food because it would make her feel full. She didn’t have to eat seconds or thirds to get the same satisfaction like before.

Hoodia also helped control her cravings so that she could stick to a healthy diet. She didn’t have the urge to eat unhealthy snacks or beverages. For her, hoodia allowed her to actually stick to a healthy diet and helped her lose weight - 20 pounds no less!

After reading Mary’s comments and others like it, I finally understood why it made sense for some people to take hoodia while dieting. For most people, the hardest part about losing weight is sticking to a diet. As Mary’s comments demonstrate, if you suffer from cravings and overeating, hoodia may be able to help you overcome those challenges and help you stick to a healthy diet. While there is no guarantee that hoodia will work the same for everyone as it did for Mary and others like her, it certainly explains how hoodia can play an important role as part of an overall diet and exercise program.

Hope this information helps!
