I’m Taking Hoodia Diet Extra - Why Isn’t Hoodia Working For Me?

I am taking 1 tablet of hoodia an hour before breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it is not working. I still feel hungry between meals - what am I doing wrong? Please help!

I checked out the Hoodia Diet Extra website to get more information on this supplement as I’m not familiar with it. It appears this diet supplement is primarily a blend of various extracts with a small amount of hoodia gordonii. There is only 50mg of hoodia gordonii in each Hoodia Diet Extra tablet. While it appears these diet pills do contain authentic hoodia gordonii, they contain so little of it that any appetite suppressing affects you might experience from them will not be from the hoodia!

Dr. Varallo has monitored over 500 weight loss patients over a three year period who have had success with hoodia and he says most of his patients have been taking anywhere from 2,250-4,500mg of hoodia gordonii per day! With only 50mg of hoodia gordonii per day in each Hoodia Diet Extra tablet, you’d have to take 45-90 tablets a day! Obviously, no one in their right mind is going to take that many but you hopefully see the point I’m trying to make. There simply isn’t enough hoodia in Hoodia Diet Extra to make a difference in appetite as you have experienced.

When you buy hoodia diet pills, you want to make sure that they contain a minimum of 400mg per capsule - and some argue those are even too small. Hoodia Diet Extra doesn’t even come close. The most potent authentic hoodia gordonii capsules currently available are made by Desert Burn and Hoodoba. Both of these brands make a 750mg capsule - and that’s 750mg of pure hoodia gordonii without any other ingredients! With these types of supplements, you only need to take 3-6 capsules per day to reach those higher doses (if higher doses are necessary for your body to respond to them).

In addition to the amount of hoodia in a given supplement and the dosage needed to effectively suppress your appetite, there are a couple other things you need to keep in mind. First, it can take as long as two weeks for hoodia diet pills to work so you need to be patient and you need to give them time. If they don’t work immediately, that is normal. Give them at least two weeks before you give up on them.

The second thing to remember is that hoodia diet pills don’t work for everyone. Some people just don’t respond to them. If you are taking those higher doses consistently over at least a two week period and they still don’t work, then you’re one of those that don’t respond to hoodia gordonii. If that’s the case, it doesn’t matter what brand you take or how much you take - it’s not going to work for you.

I hope I’ve given you enough information to help you understand why Hoodia Diet Extra isn’t working for you. My advice would be to stick with those brands on my best rated hoodia page. They are the most potent and purest hoodia supplements available right now. If they don’t work for you, no brand of hoodia will!
