You Recommend Desert Burn Hoodia But Some Say It Doesn’t Work - What Gives?

Hi, I am wondering why you recommend Desert Burn hoodia when the supplement only received a 2 star rating on Amazon. Thanks. -Ed

Ed:

I noticed the Desert Burn reviews on Amazon as well, but I still stand behind my recommendation. I won’t bore you with all the reasons why since I outlined them in great detail in my Desert Burn review.

If you read the reviews on Amazon, you’ll see the comments fall into two camps: those who love it because it worked, and those who hate it because it didn’t. This isn’t surprising to me. Most hoodia reviews for any given product will be split down the middle.

The reality is, hoodia works great for some and doesn’t do a thing for others. I’ve stated this numerous times throughout this website. Some people just don’t respond to it - no matter what brand they take or how much they take of it. We’re all wired differently so what works great for one person may not do a thing for another person.

Aside from some people just not responding to hoodia, there are other reasons why hoodia diet pills don’t always work that may explain why Desert Burn doesn’t get high reviews on Amazon. First, It takes a lot more hoodia gordonii than most people realize for it to effectively suppress appetite.

Dr. Varallo, a physician I consult with, has over three years of clinical experience with hoodia. He has monitored over 500 men and women who have taken Desert Burn hoodia to assist them with their weight loss. He says most of his patients need to take anywhere from 2,250 - 4,500mg of hoodia per day! The truth is, it takes a lot of it to work effectively and I suspect most people probably don’t take that much on a daily basis.

The second reason why hoodia diet pills don’t always work is because it isn’t taken long enough. Hoodia can take as long as two weeks of consistent daily use to be effective. Hoodia will not work if the doses aren’t consistent. Skipping a day here and there or altering the amount you take from one day to the next will negatively impact its effectiveness. And since it can take so long before it works, I suspect a lot of people give up to early. They figure if it doesn’t work after a week it will never work so they stop taking it. Hoodia needs to be given at least a two week period to determine its effectiveness.

Finally, I think too many people have unrealistic expectations of hoodia diet pills. They buy hoodia under the impression that all they have to do is pop some pills and somehow the weight will magically disappear. Desert Burn, or any hoodia supplement for that matter, doesn’t work that way. Hoodia is just an appetite suppressant. You still have to do the hard work of diet and exercise.

Now you might be asking yourself, if I still have to diet and exercise, what’s the point of taking hoodia? For the answer to that, I encourage you to read my response here.

The bottom line is this…I recommend Desert Burn because it is one of the few companies that sells 100% authentic hoodia gordonii. If you read my Desert Burn review, you’ll notice I don’t say it will result in significant weight loss or anything like that. I give it a glowing review simply because it is a pure, 100% authentic hoodia supplement. As to its effectiveness, that will be up to each individual and how much they take and how long they take it as stated above.

I hope this answers your question!
