What Is Your Opinion On Desert Burn Hoodia?

I’m wanting to lose a few pounds. I don’t want a “fat burner”. I just want something that will curb my appetite to keep me from snacking. I was thinking about trying Desert Burn but it’s pretty pricey. I just thought I would get some opinions before spending my money. Thanks. -Shorty

Desert Burn hoodia is definitely one of the better hoodia brands out there. I just wanted to share some information with you that might help you make a decision one way or another.

Hoodia gordonii doesn’t always work for everyone. Some people just don’t respond to it. So while it might work great for one person, it may not do a thing for you. As an example, I had a newsletter subscriber who emailed me to tell me Desert Burn was “worthless” because it didn’t do anything for her. I told her the same things I’m telling you here. Hoodia doesn’t always work. The only way to really know for sure if it works is by trying it yourself.

If you do decide to give it a try, keep these points in mind…hoodia can take 2-3 weeks or more before it starts to “kick in.” Unlike a drug, hoodia’s appetite suppressing effects are cumulative so don’t expect immediate results.

In addition, it can take several hundred milligrams of hoodia per day for some people before it works effectively. A doctor I spoke with has been administering hoodia to his weight loss patients for the past two years and he says the average dose has been about 3,000mg per day! You may not need that much but the point is if the dosage recommendations listed on the label aren’t working for you, you may need to increase the dose.

Finally, if Desert Burn doesn’t work for you (again, make sure you are taking enough everyday and are giving it at least 2-3 weeks) then you are one of those that doesn’t respond to hoodia so switching to another brand will not make a difference. The reason being is Desert Burn is one of the few brands that contains 100% authentic hoodia gordonii. There are other brands that contain authentic hoodia as well, but authentic hoodia gordonii is authentic hoodia gordonii. If Desert Burn doesn’t work then trying another brand that contains the same thing isn’t going to make a difference. Does that make any sense?

P.S. There is another brand of hoodia that contains 100% authentic hoodia gordonii that is slightly cheaper than Desert Burn but the capsules contain half as much hoodia. The brand is called Hoodia Hoodia. They are the same thing as Desert Burn except you only get 400mg per capsule. A bottle of Hoodia Hoodia is $40 (vs. $59 for Desert Burn).
