Pure Hoodia Confirmed! Desert Burn and Natural Health Hoodia Pass The Test

When you ,buy hoodia, the most important thing to consider is the authenticity of the supplement you are considering. If the diet supplement doesn’t contain 100% pure hoodia gordonii, it won’t do a thing to suppress your appetite. Hoodia is classified as a diet supplement, and as a diet supplement, it isn’t regulated by the FDA. Even though the label on all these hoodia supplements claim to contain authentic hoodia gordonii, that doesn’t mean they actually do. In fact, most contain very little, if any, hoodia gordonii.

The only way to determine if a hoodia supplement is authentic is to have it tested by an independent lab. Alkemists Pharmaceuticals, an independent testing laboratory located in California, has a program called the Premium Partner Random Analysis Program. Companies volunteer to be participants in the program. As participants, their hoodia products are randomly tested on a quarterly basis to ensure they are authentic. This is a terrific program because it helps the consumer identify authentic hoodia supplements.

The latest results of this program were unveiled in late February of 2008 and eight brands of hoodia diet supplements were found to have no adulteration or contamination. In other words, they were found to be 100% pure and authentic hoodia supplements. As I expected, two products made by Desert Burn and Natural Health Hoodia passed the tests with flying colors.

Desert Burn’s, Hoodia Shake, and Natural Health Hoodia’s, Certified Hoodia, were found to contain 100% pure and authentic hoodia gordonii. Hoodia supplements made by these two companies also passed the tests for authenticity in the previous random testing that was done last quarter. This just goes to show the quality of these two brands and why I recommend them in my hoodia reviews.
