Hoodia and Yogurt: A Healthy Natural Appetite Suppressant

I read an article today on allAfrica.com about the Hoodia Growers’ Association of Namibia (HOGRAN). I had never heard of this organization before but apparently the goal of the group is to help local farmers in Namibia benefit from the popularity of hoodia gordonii by making products containing it for profit.
One of the things they are doing is trying to create a variety of products that contain hoodia gordonii to show people that hoodia isn’t just a bitter extract used in capsules. One of the things they are promoting and selling is yogurt with hoodia.
The yogurts come in a variety of flavors including pineapple, peach, banana, and grenadilla. They are also selling teas, capsules, drops, and weight loss gels with hoodia.
I don’t know why I didn’t think of mixing hoodia powder in yogurt before but it makes perfect sense! Yogurt is very healthy, particularly if you buy a brand with added probiotics and fiber. Yogurt can also be an effective appetite suppressant by itself. Eat 4-6 ounces of yogurt and wash it down with a glass of water and you’ll know what I mean!
